Messy Church Online – Saturday 28th March 2020

Today’s Theme is ‘Mothers and Others’

Thanks for joining us for Messy Church Online! Today’s Messy Church Online fun comes in three parts! First we’ll get CREATIVE & PLAY. Second we’ll SING & WORSHIP. Third we’ll hear a BIBLE STORY.

Below you’ll find 8 activities with things to create, games to play and creative ways to pray as we think about Mothers and Others who care for us. We will explore: who helps us; how people care and help us; how we can say thank you; and how we can show care for others. Simply start at the top and work down, through each activity, or pick and choose which ones to have a go at. Each activity comes with a video and some have downloadable materials for you to use. Let’s get messy!

Let’s sing about how we are all different but God wants us all to be part of His family, the Church!

God loves us so much! He loves to hear us worship. The bible teaches us we should love God and love others, as we are reminded in Matthew 22:36-39:
“Teacher,” he asked, “which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’

Let’s listen to a wonderful story about Jesus’ mother, Mary.
