Welcome to our Messy Easter – we are so pleased to be able to carry on connecting with you at this time. We are looking forward to having fun together today, whilst learning and making things that will help us to learn and remember the Easter Story.
When you think of Easter you may think of bunnies, chicks, eggs and chocolate but we are going to look at the real Easter story. It’s all about Jesus and what happened to him so that we could be saved and come into relationship with God again.
At times this story is sad but it ends on a happy day – one that shows God’s authority, power, love and sacrifice for us.
The Easter story is found at the end of each of the bible books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
We call these the gospels – They are filled with the Good News of Jesus.
