You may have noticed that the lighted cross on the top of the church tower was missing one of its ‘arms’ for several weeks. Unfortunately, it wasn’t just in need of a new bulb but some major work. Thanks to a generous donation, it has been renovated with new wiring and new perspex so that it’s now shining brighter than ever.
The lighted cross is a well-known landmark in the town, often useful for directions. But it also signifies the Light of Christ, a beacon of hope, and showing the way to God.
As a Church, we hope and pray that we will also shine brighter, reflecting Christ’s glory.
