Once again St Augustine’s is taking part in the global prayer initiative, Thy Kingdom Come – 10 days of prayer from Ascension Day to Pentecost.

We invite you to join together in praying for the re-evangelisation of our world; for the transformation of our local community, in particular Inspiring Ipswich; and, as individuals to #Pledge2Pray for five friends to come to know Jesus.

“In praying ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ we all commit to playing our part in the renewal of the nations and the transformation of communities.”  Archbishop Justin Welby

More Details

24/7 Prayer

This will run in the Prayer Room from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday on 1 and 8 June.  We aim to have the Prayer Room permanently occupied during these two 24 hour periods.  Book an hour slot on your own or with a prayer buddy.  Book online at https://www.24-7prayer.com/signup/eac41f

Prayer on the Move!

We will start at the church at 7pm, and either walk, run or cycle different routes through the parish, all meeting up at the Golf Hotel on Foxhall Road.  Distances will be about 6.5 miles for the cycle, 3 miles for the run and 1.5 miles for the walk.

Children are welcome, but need to be accompanied by a parent/carer.  Note that the cycle route will be on roads and shared use footpaths where available.   Please let us know if you are coming and if you need an accessible walking route.

Cake and Prayer

The theme of the day is #Celebrate and there will be a number of Cake and Prayer events running throughout the day for fellowship and prayer.

Venues and times for Cake and Prayer will be confirmed nearer the time.  All other events are in the Lantern Room.  If you have any questions or wish to register interest in an event, please email prayerroom@staugustinesipswich.org.uk.
