Every Wednesday from 10am-12.30pm, our Lantern Room becomes a community space for a variety of hobbies and activities.  Anyone is welcome to share a hobby or skill and anyone is welcome to join a workshop or activity.  They are all free.  Or you can come to relax and chat, or to enjoy the peace in our quiet area and prayer space.

The activities are based around the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ which promote good mental and emotional health.  As we
connectgivebe activekeep learning and take notice, we engage in a preventative approach to mental ill health.

TLC Renew is part of the RenewWellbeing family.  RenewWellbeing is a charity which helps churches open spaces of welcome and inclusion in partnership with mental health teams to improve mental and emotional wellbeing. Based around the 5 Ways to Wellbeing, Renew spaces work on three simple principles: being present, being prayerful and being in partnership.

Being Present – our Hosts will come alongside our Regulars in a supportive and non-judgmental way.  Together we will share hobbies and habits for wellbeing.

Being Prayerful – our Renew space is underpinned with prayer from our team of Hosts, as well as the Ministry team and Church community.  The Renew space includes a quiet area for prayer and during our sessions, we will take time out for a short period of guided prayer which Regulars can join if they choose.

Being in Partnership – we have links to other organisations which we can signpost to for people who need professional support.  We can also be signposted to from other churches and organisations, including social prescribing from GPs.
