Students & Young Adults

You’re in the right place!

At St Augustine’s Ipswich, we have a great and growing community of 18-30s and students, and we’d love to welcome you! Whether you’re new to Ipswich or a fresher at UoS, looking for a church to call home, want to connect with other young adults in the town, or want to explore faith for the first time, we’ve got you sorted. We’re part of the HTB Network, and our Sunday worship is relaxed, welcoming, and contemporary.

There are four easy ways to connect in with us at St Augustine’s – check them out below!

Sundays

We get together to worship on Sundays at 10:30am. There’ll be great coffee, a warm welcome, lively worship led by our band, an inspiring and relevant talk based on the Bible, and a chance to pray or be prayed for. Check out our Sundays page for more details on how our Sundays are a bit different due to Covid-19.

Groups

We have loads of Connect Groups at St Augustine’s, including some especially for young adults. Connect Groups are places to catch up, eat food, have fun, and grow together as we try to follow Jesus. If you’d like to join a YA Connect Group, use the contact form below to let us know!

Alpha

Alpha is a chance to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith in a friendly, informal and open environment. We’ll send you a series of short videos to watch, and then get together (over Zoom, at the moment) to chat about what we though. Simple. For more details or to sign up, head to our Alpha page.

Socials

Keep up to date with all the latest excitement from St Augustine’s by following us on social media. Click the links to check us out on Facebook and Instagram.

Contact.

If you’ve got questions, or just want to chat with one of our church leaders, we’d love to hear from you. You can email Amy Key or Matt Key, who lead our young adults work by clicking on their names, or use the form below to send a message. Don’t be shy, just say hi!
